Does anyone have an Ameristar board for the 1000 that they would like
to sell, or know where I can get my hands on one ?? I called Ameristar
and they only have them for the 2000. Also, does the board and software
for the 1000 (if one exists) have all of the capabilities of the 2000
version (NFS, TCP/IP, FTP, TELNET, etc...) ?? I really want to add my
1000 to our network at Sandia but don't want to spend the money for an
expansion box with 2000-compatible slots unless it's my only option.
Ameristar sells the 2000 version with software for $899. I don't know
what the original price was for the 1000 board. Any help on this
matter would be greatly appreciated !!
