[comp.sys.amiga] Thanks for DMOUSE

Nice Program! I like it tons better than clickupfront. I can't think of
anything else I would have it do.

Thanks for posting it!

Sean

Agreed, but I can think of one itty bitty thing that I'd like to see
"fixed."

When one clicks on the close gadget of a window that is behind another
window, the back window is flashed to the front for an instant before it
closes. It offends my sense of aesthetics, but isn't really a bug.

Matt, you may feel free to flame me to death for my choice of the words
"itty bitty" as I have no feel for what it would take to make such a
change.

Indeed!!! Mach is getting slicker and slicker but also fatter and
fatter. Who needs all that stuff anyway? DMOUSE is also slick, but for
us floppy based users it leaves us just that much more space on our
workbench disks for other tools. Matt, don't fall into the trap of
adding "just one more feature" until the program becomes a hog. I mean,
hell, I need all the disk space I can get for DME, the shell, etc....

By the way Matt, which day of the month do you reserve for sleeping?
:-)

Thanks for all the good stuff,
Gary

Just wanted to throw in my two-cents. I've always wanted a mouse
blanker, a screen blanker, a hotkey newshell, easier window/screen to
front/back, and a faster mouse speed. But I have never had any of those
things because I thought it was too dangerous to have half a dozen
alien background programs lurking around, and because they would take
too much disk room and too long to load and fire up. I like Dmouse -
especially the compactness and configurability. Thanks.
