I know that LIVE! uses the expansion bus on a 1000. Is there _any_ way I can use it on a 2000? I am hoping someone has already done the dirty work for me. I can use a soldering iron, and read a schematic, but can't tell you how or why it works. Any help (no matter how vague) will be appreciated. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hal Meeks "Where are the people?" netoprhm@ncsuvm.bitnet "I converted them all to hgm@ncsuvx.ncsu.edu (sometimes) electrical energy..... but now I am lonely." 3 Stooges - "Have Rocket, Will Travel"

You can use a MicroBotics Starboard-II to A2000 adapter. The A1000 Live! fits right in the adapter, but the result does not fit right into the A2000, you have to take a hack-saw to the A2000. Cut a small opening in front of the A2000 slot you plan on using and the board fits right in. The A2000 cover will still fit on, and hide the hack. You need to add a few lines but you should ask A**2 about them. If they can't help let me know. -- Rich miner@dino.ulowell.edu 617/452-5000x2693 UL-CPE Imaging Research Lab
