[comp.sys.amiga] I still need Virus information

erd@tut.cis.ohio-state.edu (Ethan R. Dicks) (05/11/88)

I still need help on viruses. Dan Schein recommended consulting the first
Transactor for the Amiga, but I don't get the TransAmi. I guess I should
ask some specific questions:

1) What distinguishes the SCA virus from the LSD virus, regarding effect
when triggered? I know that the SCA prints the special message, but what
   does the LSD do?

2) How can you get the LSD to trigger?

3) What is the AEK virus? I know that is was created by the Micro-Master of
Sector 1 (from the README file with ViewBoot)

4) Are there any other viruses besides the SCA, the LSD, the AEK, and the Byte
   Bandit Virus?

Thanks in advance,
-ethan

There is also a good article in INFO magazine. Orange cover, I'm not sure
which month.

It doesn't really matter. Just get rid of it!

	Why would you want to?

A virus is a virus is a virus. If you get it before it gets you
then it's not important what it does.
