I had noticed that every now and then the mouse wouldn't blank, and I've tried to figure out why and at last I have: dmouse won't blank the mouse if it has just been thrown onto a new screen because one was created or annihilated underneath it. For example, I'm in Online! now and the mouse is still there: Online!'s new screen undid the mouse blank. The mouse will stay until I move it - as soon as I move the mouse, even a single pixel, the blanking works again. And... when I exit online!, if I just amiga-Q out, I'll be dumped back to my WB screen, and (as I noticed earlier this evening), if I then just wander away from the amiga, the screen will blank but the mouse won't... once I touch the mouse on the WB screen, then blanking works fine again. __ / ) Bernie Cosell /--< _ __ __ o _ BBN Labs, Cambridge, MA 02238 /___/_(<_/ (_/) )_(_(<_ cosell@bbn.com

For I guess this is the same as the problem I had with Emacs. It is fixed in the last release (1.06, not yet released for public consumption). -- Marco Papa 'Doc' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= uucp:...!pollux!papa BIX:papa ARPAnet:pollux!papa@oberon.usc.edu "There's Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Diga!" -- Leo Schwab [quoting Rick Unland] -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
