I just found an interesting "blow in card" in the new Amy Transactor last evening. No I know that comp.sys.amiga postings are captured by several folks and reposted to BBS's and commercial service (Hi Harv :-) but selling them? Heres what that blow in card says: The INFO-AMIGA SERIES, collected and indexed messages and important utilities from the world wide UNIX network. Authoritative advice and answers from over twenty COMMODORE-AMIGA technical personel and from noted AMIGA programmers such as ROB PECK, BRYCE NESBITT and MATT DILLON. Each month a new disk or set of disks comes out covering the previous month's activity. The price is a low $5.95 US or $7.50 Canadian per disk, plus $1.00 shipping and handling. -- Dan "Sneakers" Schein uucp: {ihnp4|allegra|burdvax|rutgers}!cbmvax!sneakers Commodore AMIGA ARPANET: cbmvax!sneakers@uunet.uu.net 1200 Wilson Drive Bix: dschein Plink: Dan*CATS West Chester PA 19380 phone: (215) 431-9100 ext. 9542 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Call BERKS AMIGA BBS - 24 Hrs - 3/12/2400 Baud - 40Meg - 215/678-7691 +-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Quote: Those who worked the hardest Gary Ward - Oklahoma State are the last to surrender baseball coach

Welcome to the information age, where information is money. There's nothing illegal or immoral about it, but I do think TransAmi should give the disks or free subscriptions to the people who are (unknowingly) helping them make money... ..Bob -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@swan.ulowell.edu ulowell!page Go Celts!
