Well, I use 'Z' as my main editor (I even make it resident on all my workbench disks). The version that came with Manx 3.4a seems to work very well. They fixed the :s(ubstitute) command and a few other things. Just curious (and haven't tried it yet) but why would you enter "/\*\*\*\*"? I don't think Z would consider '*' to be wildcard. I will try it and see if I guru. Eric, any idea where I can get "mg"?? I can not ftp outside of HP but would really like to get it. Any chance on e-mailing it to me?? +-------------------------------------------+---------------------------------+ | -Al Harrington ________ | Instant Guru -- All Amiga BBS! | | |__/\__| | (916) 457-7176 | | ..ucbvax!hplabs!hprnlin!alan | GT Net/Node 005/002 | | ..ucbvax!ucdavis!csusac!athena!haringtn | Baud: 1200/2400 Hours: 24 | +-------------------------------------------+---------------------------------+
