In reading over the Devcon report in the June Amiga Sentry, there is mention of support of overscan in 1.4. I really hope this support is in the way of morerows for workbench. I'm really sick to death of all the HAM overscan modes that are totally broken. Programs that don't work (I boot in interlace, use morerows): VideoScape3D 2.0 VideoTitler (1.0 has so many faults, it doesn't matter) Sclupt 3D It seems HAM and overscan doesn't mix well with a morerowed display in workbench. Perhaps I'm moaning about something really trivial, but It's hard to to go back a standard workbench display, just to make a few programs work. It's really nice to use all of the Amiga display capabilities. I understand the hardware/software constraints but hey, overscan is here to stay. On another note, the same issue of Amiga Sentry does a review of Video Titler 1.1. The author relates scepticism of the A2090's ability to do disk operations with Aegis "severe overscan mode". Bullshit, I've done it without problem. So much for that rumor. VS3D get's really confused in HAM mode. In severe overscan, the display goes out to lunch. Even in medium overscan, VS3D still displays a light green sky when I said light blue. Any chance this fix might make it into 1.3? I've still got my A1000 for compatability.
