I saw some more press coverage of the Amiga today. The cover headline of the May 31, 1988 Weekly World News said "COMPUTER TALKS WITH DEAD". I flipped inside to the story and it had a picture of the Amiga 1000! According to this reputable source :-) :-), scientists at a Soviet Union University have trained various terminally ill people a special communication method which would allow them to communicate with the computer after they die. More than thirty have died and not left any messages, but finally "Comrade K" started communicating through the computer. Only the Amiga makes it possible :-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-):-) -- Daniel A. (Their closest competitor is the Atari and they are outselling it 3:2) It's probably not too suprising that a few of those find their way across the wall. The problem is that this makes the most powerful computers in the country micros.
