I realize how much memory prices have gone up in the last few months.
Perhaps I have a solution for someone. I have 200 256k DRAMs (TI part number
TMS 4256-15NL, ceramic 150ns, date code 8614). They're all still brand new,
in the tubes, never been used. I got them a while ago, thinking of going from
2 meg to 4 or more, as soon as I could afford another MicroBotics 2meg board.
I've now decided that I need a hard disk MUCH more than I need more memory;
so I've decided to sell the chips for hard disk money.
I'll sell them for $6.00 apiece, or $5.50 if you buy 64 or more. (64 = 2meg)
In fact, since I have exactly 200, I'll throw in an extra two chips as spares
with every 64; that way I'll have only one left over. First buyer gets that
one too. These chips work; I have 64 of them in my own MicroBotics board and
they've been flawless since day 1. These chips should be totally compatible
with all Amiga memory boards, except the ones that take the 1 meg parts.
Come on, at these prices you can't afford to wait! And I need that disk bad;
I'm running out of blank floppies and I'd like not to have to buy any more.:-)
