[comp.sys.amiga] Color table matching question

u-jmolse%sunset.utah.edu@utah-gr.UUCP (John M. Olsen) (05/29/88)

What animation packages or other software exist which can take two Hold
and Modify IFF pictures and match color tables? I have some pictures that
make use of the 16 colors to avoid the fuzzy edge effects, but I need them
to use the same color set. If I just go in and hack the tables to be the
same, it will have major bad side effects on the pictures, so it needs to
be able to analyze the picture content.

I have heard that Photo Lab will do this, but don't know if it is out yet.

I also will be needing software to join a few HAM pix into an animation
loop. I've never used any of the slick animation packages, so I would like
a few opinions on what is best or worst. (I thought I might give Leo a
little competition in the 1st BADGE killer demo contest) :^)
The pictures will be generated by something other than the animation
software.

Any advice would be appreciated. Send Email unless you think it is of
general interest, of course.
