I have had a devasting experience: After about an hour of work, my 500 suddenly died, and not even the power led was on. I have 501, a subsystem with a micron 2meg card, printer, modem. The external drive (in the subsystem) gets its power from the subsystem and not from the amiga (as far as I know). I as yet don't know what the problem can be (the fiendly dealer is looking at it for me) but any ideas?
