Does anybody out there know what the current state is of Draco (written by Chris Gray) for the Amiga ? I have the version from the Fish Disks (76 and 77) - is there a newer one available ? I'm hoping Chris Gray has ported his Draco linker, so that I can replace 'blink' with something a little more intelligent. Richard K. There is a complete (and I do mean complete) article on the current state of Draco in the June Transactor. What's that ? You don't get the Transactor in Britian? You Limeyes just don't know a good thing when you see it :*) Seriously, The article went on to describe the avantages of a language that is one pass compiler to object code. There is a LOT more, and it was written by Chris Gray himself. The point of all this is that what you have is as current as it gets. He has a lot of Ideas for improvements but he is looking for a little incentive from the user community. He either ports his Draco linker ... or he writes a another D & D game. "What do you want me to do?" That is the question he poses at the end of the article. I don't have Mr. Gray's address (maybe it's on the ff disks.) but here's the Amiga Transactors' address. Transactor Publishing inc. Subscriptions Dept. 85-10 West Wilmont St. Richmond Hill Ontario Canada, L4b 1K7 This mag is the best (in my opinion) for programmers of Amiga software. They also have a UK # for quantity orders. It's Transactor (UK) Unit 2 Langdale Grove Burmingham Notts NG13 8SR tele - 0949-39380 I have nothing to do with this mag., I just like it. > > Richard K.
