[Dave then expresses confusion over the seeming contradiction: "1.3 is exactly
the same as 1.2 but with autoboot code" and "1.3 is not the same as 1.2 wrt the
Run command (and other changes e.g. the RRD)".]

I believe that Carolyn's statement that the 1.3 ROMs are identical to the 1.2
ROMs except for autoboot code refers to the ROM routines *only*. Disk-based
stuff like binaries and device drivers will not be the same distribution as in
1.2. In addition to the improved Run command and stadard RRD, many of today's
most popular Workbench enhancements, or reasonable facsimiles, will be included
(e.g. a program to change the system font and speed up text display, a la
Microsmiths' FastFonts).

Be seeing you...

Yup, that's it. The 1.3 Workbench and Extras disks have undergone
some major changes (mostly transparent enhancements).

But the text display speed up program _IS_ Microsmiths' FastFonts!
CBM licensed (sp???) it from Charlie Heath.

See ya,
