Hi all.... have a question... I am in desperate need of a program to allow you to assign multiply search paths. Pathadd will not work because it only works for executables and not data files. I thought that I had found the program I needed in AssignDev... BUT, it only allows you to assign a device and not a device:directory. What I would like to do on the Amiga is assign multiply search paths when a file cannot be found. For example.. First the program would look in the directory dh0:menus... if it cannot find the file it need there then it would look in dh0:text if not there then dh0:tic... I think you get the idea. I think this is called aliases?? The program THINKS it is looking only in the DH0:menus directory when in fact the system itself will search a number of directories. Does anybody know of such a program in PD/Shareware/Commercial circles?? I need this program pretty bad... I would be willing to pay for such a utility... If you can help please leave E-Mail...
