I've received a lot of email expressing interest in Steve Tibbett's
BBX software. (Steve is the author of all those nifty 'X' utilities:
TaskX, VirusX, DiskX, ScreenX).
After conversations with Steve on Plink he indicated that he is still
working on the software and may or may not release a PD version as well
as a Commercial version which he would probably self-market. As of
right now he's still cleaning up the code and has nothing to post yet.
You can call Steve's own BBS which is running BBX software and for now,
anyway, see what it looks like on the user's side. Unfortunately it's
a Canadian phone number so PCPursuit won't get you there at their nice
inexpensive rate, but here's the # anyway: 613-731-3419. If the
board is down it just means he's working on the code or making some
dialouts himself.
At any rate, BBX, the PD version, will be up on Plink when and if Steve
decides it's ready to release. From there I imagine it'll propogate out
rather quickly :-)
