[comp.sys.amiga] Wedge Disk Interface?

I've seen reference to a device called the "Wedge" which 
connects an A1000 expansion bus to a cheap IBM-PC style
disk controller. Cost was claimed to be $150.  Does anyone
have any information about this unit, like who makes it, where
to get one,....?
