I have been noticing a bug for a VERY long time now and no one ever talks about it. (Am I dreaming?). When I pop out a disk and "cd" to the empty drive, it USUALLY responds by popping up a requester. Fine. SOMETIMES though, rarely, the system GURUs. This happens with and without ARP. It happens on my A2000, my old A1000, and it happened last night on a friend's A1000 with a virgin Workbench disk. Unfortunately, I have never remembered to write down the GURU number and look it up! Any ideas anyone? ========== IBM is a Division of Sirius Cybernetics Corporation "their fundamental design flaws are completely hidden by their superficial design flaws." - "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" Lyle Levine: Paths -> ihnp4!wuphys!lel Best way: (314)889-6379 uunet!wucs!wuphys!lel

Early on, the people at Amiga realized that some people didn't notice when they had removed disks from drives and so spent inordinate amounts of time trying to cd to them. So they decided to make the system GURU - an example of applied psychology at work! >Lyle Levine: Paths -> ihnp4!wuphys!lel Best way: (314)889-6379 -- Morgan Jones mwjones@lily.waterloo.edu
