I am considering getting a hard drive for my 2000. The system
I'm looking at uses a CLtd. SCSI controller with a ST277N Seagate
drive, giving 60 Megs under RLL. Price is quoted at $729.00.
Questions:
1) Does anyone have any experience/comments pro or con on either
of these components?
2) When UNIX is available, will there be drivers for this combination,
or will we be limited to the drive/controller bundled in the
"A2500"? (Anybody at Commodore have any input?)
Reply by E-mail to {backbone}!killer!gtmvax!dave. I will summarize
to the net.
Thanks.
