[comp.sys.amiga] Suggestion for 1.4

I haven't noticed this suggestion before on the net, but I feel that it
could be of great use to those of us who manage to mess up when typing
in commands. It is present on the IBM PC so I know that it would def-
inately be possible on a superior machine such as the Amiga. On the
IBM it is F3. This function key performs a retrieve of the last entered
command. Only suggestion to this would be to make it store more than
just the last command entered, maybe the last 8 commands.

Who knows maybe this subbestion already exist in software somewhere.

Thanks for the space for this case, till next case, I'll hide my face.

In 1.3, there is a new shell which lets you edit commands with the
left & right cursor keys, as well as scroll back previous commands
with the up & down cursor keys. *VERY USEFUL*

Matt Dillon/Steve Drew's Shell, besides doing a lot of other
neat things, does that as well. In fact, it keeps a history of
your last n commands, n being as large as you tell it (if I remember
right - I just use it now, it's been a long time since I looked at
the docs). You can roll back up through them with the arrow key,
get the one you want, move around and edit it, then execute it.
