[comp.sys.amiga] Federated going out of business??

hansb@ariel.unm.edu (Hans Bechtel) (06/29/88)

Here in Albuquerque New Mexico, the "Atari owned" Federated store
closed its doors a few days ago.

I wonder if it is a new trend!

The Amiga section of the NMCUG, NM Commodore Users Group,
had our meeting place there last week, and found out the news on the
spot... Now looking for a new place to meet.

Just some new news to pass around...

I tried replying directly, but my mailer deamon tells me there isn't a user
"hansb" at ariel.unm.edu...

If it's a new trend, it's hitting more than Atari. In the Columbia, Md. area
stores are dropping AMIGA hardware and software right, zorf, left and gilch.
Something about lack of sales...

Its becoming *** VERY *** difficult to find AMIGA support in this area.
