[comp.sys.amiga] Spirit INBOARD clock chip

maloff@calgary.UUCP (Sheldon Maloff) (07/04/88)

I'd like to thank everyone for pointing out a flaw in my idea about a
virus in the Spirit Technologies INBOARD memory expansion battery backed
up clock ram (phew!). Sure you can put a virus there, but how do you
execute it!? (Why I didn't see that problem, I don't know :-)

New Question. The Spirit.SetClock program I have doesn't work properly.
It used to set the time and date properly. Before this leap year. Now
it always sets the day one day behind what is requested. I recall seeing
this mentioned before. What I'd like to find out is, what are the clocks
registers on the Spirit Tech. clock chip? I'd like to rewrite the
clock setting program so it works properly. Can anybody help?
