[comp.sys.amiga] Modula

favre_p%CLSEPF51.BITNET@cunyvm.cuny.edu (Patrick FAVRE) (07/04/88)

Hello world,

  My question is simple:

WHICH IS THE BEST MODULA-2 FOR THE AMIGA? (or is there a PROPER Pascal
compiler, not ISO v.0.0.0.000 ?)

  Any advice would be appreciated.

Please answer directly, not via comp.sys.amiga, as i am no more on their list.

Patrick

favre_p@clsepf51.bitnet or, if it doesn't work...
favre_p@elde.epfl.ch or even, using DECnet...

I'm running on a tight schedule, so I don't have time to tell you all the
gorey details, but DO NOT BUY the TDI compiler.

Just a sample: The latest release for the 'developer's' version was so
carelessly put together that it included a Mac file in the demo source
directory. Not to mention that it takes way too much memory to run, is slow
and gives you utilities (in the developer's version) that are buggy.
[I still remember reading the documentation for the kermit that was
touted as being included with the compilier: "currently the send function
is not implemented..."] That about sums-up the caliber of TDI's software.
