[comp.sys.amiga] Paper White monitors

Recently I picked up an issue of Computer Shopper. On sale were
Roland 14" paper white TTL monitors. This made me wonder if the TTL
Hi-Res Monitor Interface produced by Hypertek/silicon Springs in Canada
will work with any IBM TTL monochrome monitor. If that's the case then
it would seem that any Amiga user disatisfied with the Amiga's
lack of crisp text, could for $200 get a super sharp 640x400 paper
white display. Perfect for desk top publishing and CAD/CAM.

Has anyone out there tried using the TTL-interface with other
then the Commodore 1901 or Magnavox Monitor 80?
