Anyone have a reccomendation for a hard disk backup proggie for the 'miga ?? I've tried Mrbackup, and (no offence to it's author - it's a fine proggie as far as it goes!), I do find it tediously slow..... I've heard that Quaterback is supposed to be good, but I'd like a few more opinions before spending any money !!!!!! -- Paul Ockenden Philips Radiotheapy Systems, Crawley, UK +44 293 28787 x 4349 UUCP - uunet!mcvax!ukc!prlhp1!ockenden JANET - ockenden%prlhp1@uk.ac.Ukc Opions (where expressed), are those of Paul Ockenden the individual, NOT Paul Ockenden the Philips Employee !!

I use Quarterback for backing up 1+ GB of HD, and the product functions fine. It also PROPERLY restores date/times, file protections, and file comments (aka FileNotes). It also properly handles multi-megabyte files. And it's fast. Be SURE you get at least version 1.4 of Quarterback.
