I can't seem to get jlink to work properly on my Amiga 2000/bridgecard. When I set up a virtual DOS disk on the Amiga's external floppy drive or on the ram: device, the amount of space on that virtual drive is never the amount that I specified in the /c option to jlink. I make the virtual DOS disk by invoking the following command: A> jlink d: df2:vdisk /c:800 In drive two (df2:), I have a freshly formatted Amiga disk. When I go into d: from dos and do a "dir", it says I have something like 140 meg of available space on that virtual disk. That wouldn't bother me so much if it weren't for the second problem: If I copy a lot of data to the virtual disk (nearly filling it) and then delete the files, the space that those files take up does not get freed up on the amiga device until you close down the virtual disk and reopen it. That means I can't open a virtual disk on ram: and use it as a temporary spot for copying floppies on my one-drive DOS system without unlinking it and relinking it between every floppy copy. Am I doing something wrong? I have a version 4.3 B2000. I don't know what version my Bridgeboard is. Danny -- Daniel A.
