I would like to get a package that would be sufficient to do the layout of my house. What I would like to do is outline the house and then be able to reposition things (like furniture, rugs, etc.) within it. I would like it to be flexible enough so that it would show varying amounts of detail at different levels of magnification. I would like it to have some idea of how things conflict spacially; that is, I would like it to complain if I put a sofa on a wall, but it's OK if I put a table on a rug, for example. I would also like it to be inexpensive. That may be asking a lot. I have had both IntroCAD by Progressive Perhiperals (about $80) and Draw Plus by Aegis (about $260) recommended to me. Is IntroCAD sufficient for what I want to do? Or is the extra $180 for Draw Plus really worth it? Is there another package that would meet my needs? Please answer by mail, if possible; I'll post a followup with what I learn. Thanks. -- -- Greg Noel, NCR Rancho Bernardo Greg.Noel@SanDiego.NCR.COM or greg@ncr-sd
