#N:zeppo:7900001:000:592 zeppo!raj Sep 1 16:28:00 1982 I have recently changed from using 'readnews' to 'notes' (actually 'autoseq' which sequences through a list of newsgroups in the order that I specify in an environment variable 'NFSEQ'). I like using notes better than using readnews, but there is one small problem. The title of an article is limited to 36 characters and sometimes there is information in a title that is lost. I (and probably others who use notes) would appreciate it if people would either limit their titles to 36 characters, or repeat the content of the title somewhere in the article. Thanks, Rich Johnson

Even better: change 'notes' to handle titles correctly.

The worst part is when people type the question half of a riddle on the subject line without repeating it in the body of the article. --Dave Curry, Purdue E.E.
