OK, so i have a way to upgrade my 1000, sounds like. I buy : motherboard, $300, part no. XXXXX Power supply, $xxx, part no. xxxxx then i convert the keyboard by: <> Maybe i can buy some kind of box, like the: <>, offered by <> containers inc. Of course, maybe i should just sell my 1000, which is currently worth <>. Because i can get a 2000 mail-order now for <> My guess is that a 1000 is still worth about, what, $1000 or so? On the other hand, the only reason i really want the 2000 is to get a 68020 so i can run NeWS real fast, and get a good hard disk, and put in the ECS when it is available, ... Now that i use suns all the time the every-other-black-scan-line on the 1000 is really beginning to bug me. Love that machine, but sure wish i had flicker-free interlace. Maybe a better solution is to keep the 1000 and just add in a <> and a <>. If i sound confused about what to do, well, i am. anybody wanna fill in the blanks? ron
