Is there something I should be doing in the way of "PM" or some such for my floppy drives? I'm pretty much of a novice when it comes to those things, but last night I had one of those little incidents that make you think about it: I tried to boot my Amiga with the same WB disk it had been using successfully for months, all write protected, of course, and it complained of a read error. I retried a couple of time all to no avail. So I popped the disk, just blew into the front of the drive (no "Dust Off" or anything fancy like that... just a huff and a puff) and reinserted the disk and it *worked*! Anyhow, now I'm worried. Should I be regularly cleaning out the drives? I notice that they don't have any little doors or anything on them, so they should do more than their share of sucking up dust, cat hair, etc. Thanks. __ / ) Bernie Cosell /--< _ __ __ o _ BBN Sys & Tech, Cambridge, MA 02238 /___/_(<_/ (_/) )_(_(<_ cosell@bbn.com
