You can get used to the flicker, it's not really that bad compared to the advantages of 48 lines of text! Makes program editing a joy. I use MicroEMACS version 30 (slightly modified) on the Amiga, vi on Unix, and LSEDIT on VMS without a hitch. A 48-line text window does push the limits of the blitter when it wants to scroll, especially if there are other windows in front. You can watch the individual ClipRects being moved, seesaw fashion. -- Bill Kinnersley Physics Department BITNET: iphwk@mtsunix1 Montana State University INTERNET: iphwk%mtsunix1.bitnet@cunyvm.cuny.edu Bozeman, MT 59717 CSNET: iphwk%mtsunix1.bitnet@relay.cs.net (406)994-3614 UUCP: ...psuvax1!mtsunix1.bitnet!iphwk "This message was packed as full as practicable by modern electronic equipment.
