I just figured it out. Remember long ago when I was having problems with my SONY television Monitor so that in Interlace mode the odd lines would be half intensity? Basically, I would have all the even lines full intensity and all the odd lines half intensity. Well, I found that it was the monitor, in particular the vertical hold. Since this is a television, it has a vertical hold on it. If the vertical hold is just slightly off, it will cause the odd lines to be slightly off compared to the even lines. This gives the impression of odd lines being half intensity. If I look reallt closely on the television, I can also see it. So to fix this problem, I just did some fine tuning to the vertical hold, and I get full interlace in mind breaking flicker! Thanks to all who made suggestions, I don't guarantee what works for me, works for you, but it might help. PS. Oh, I found I don't have half-brite either, but I'll wait on that until I get more RAM. -- ------------ Brian Moffet brianm@sco.com {ucscc, uunet, decvax!microsof}!sco!brianm My opinions do not in anyway reflect those of my employer or my fish.
