I just heard a rumor that 380meg hard disks would be less than $1000
in OEM quantities by the end of the year (Electronic News). All we need
is a couple hundred people and ... ;-)

With removable media, yet (so that you can have many gigabytes of storage handy, if you so desire). The price tag on the thing is supposed to be something like $2600. The only disadvantage is that it's fairly slow, comparable to today's cheap 20mb and 30mb drives. If you wast mass-storage M.A.S.T. (Memory And Storage Technology) was displayin a 1 GIGABYTE Worm drive at AmiExpo last week. It was SCSI and had an interface for the Amiga 1000,2000,500.
