Moderator here, [contrary to popular belief, I am *not* dead -- just very, very busy :-] The system I base myself on (s.cc.purdue.edu) is going to be down 8/8 thru 8/11 for instillation [sic!] of a new-and-improved kernel (yeah.. right.. :-). So, all mail sent directly to that machine may bounce or get stuck till it comes back up -- if that happens, wait a few days and try again. In the mean time, I am going to be hiding on another machine (mace.cc.purdue.edu). I'm not too sure of how connected to the net it is, so you can also try k.cc.purdue.edu which will be forwarded to mace.cc.. (and I know that works). I will still be posting stuff (different machine again) and trying to get ahead enough that I can start answering mail.. wish me luck :-) If none of this makes sense, or you are curious about the local net topography, let me know and I'll try and explain. (Once upon a time there was this net... :-) -- Pat White (co-moderator comp.sources/binaries.amiga) ARPA/UUCP: k.cc.purdue.edu!ain BITNET: PATWHITE@PURCCVM PHONE: (317) 743-8421 U.S. Mail: 320 Brown St. apt. 406, West Lafayette, IN 47906
