We're looking for an adapter board that will allow us to plug a 68030 into the 68020 socket on our VERSAbus processor boards. The processor boards are Motorola VM04's, if that's of any help, since I understand that there are various levels of adaptation possible. We were wondering whether anyone makes such a board commercially, because we don't want to have to (yuck) wire-wrap a small board with 150+ pins on it. Check with: Computer Systems Associates 7564 Trade Street San Diego, CA 92121 (619) 566-3911 They have just what you are looking for. An adaptor that includes a 68030 on the board, but you may be able to get just the board from them. They have an ad on page 37 of the July 88 issue of Computer Graphics Today. I am not associated with CSA, and I have never used their products, but I would be interested in hearing what anyone finds out on this subject. -- | "Everything you | All opinions expressed are mine, all mine! | | know | So, don't go blaming BTi for my incoherent | | is wrong!" | ramblings... | | - FST | ncr-sd!bti!mfm |
