[net.general] 2-D graphics packages

I am interested in any information that anyone can give me
concerning 2-D graphics packages that will run under UNIX
and preferably are written in C.  Please mail responses
directly to me.  If there is enough interest I will post the
results to the net.  Someone has informed me that a similar request
was posted recently.  If this is so, could that person please
pass along to me their results.  Thanks in advance.
