I can't get this message to Mark for some reason so I have to post it to the net. I appologize for any inconvenience. Please don't chastize me I'm just trying to help the guy (and I've obviously made a boo boo trying to mail to him). Mark, Dr. T's KCS is a sequencer, in fact, KCS stands for Keyboard Controlled Sequencer. I don't use but there is a program called copyist that will convert it into standard grand staff score for printing. Just because it's a sequencer doesn't mean you can't enter data manually into the edit list or with step time recording. The only Amiga voice that's available with KCS is the internal metrodome (click track) which can be silenced. The true power of KCS comes with use to MIDI devices. You have 48 plus tracks and I have songs that are playing 12+ notes at once. You have complete program and control change (very powerful). I can enter a 3+ minute song in under 6 hours the same operation under say DMCS would take about 24 hours to score. It's just faster for me. I'm not Mozart, I have to think of what I want to do, then play it, then score it. I can't just think of it and go directly to score it. With Sonix and DMCS I found several limitations and I've never felt limited with KCS. If you have any further questions don't hesitate to ask. Ran
