[comp.sys.amiga] FTP and dram chips

tjm@nsscb.UUCP (Timothy J. Murphy) (08/24/88)

The law of averages applicable to computer usage finally caught up
to me and all the archives I created with the choicest postings from this
group have been brutally mangled beyond recall...If anyone can help me with
2 pieces of info I need, I promise never to eat at McDonald's again (ahem).
	Anyway:
		1) What are the product codes or designations or id's
for the dram chips acceptable for Amiga architecture?

		2) A while back, some clear and concise info regarding Amiga
PD archives accessible via FTP was posted. To the person(s)
who first posted, or to those who now have copies of said
postings, I will be in you debt until at least mid-March
of next year if you could re-post that info!

To those eternally, majestically, um, helpful people who can... help,
you can E-mail the info to me. There may be others who could use this knowledge
so perhaps a regular posting may be a good idea.

						Thanks muchly,

								Tim

In article <5204@pasteur.Berkeley.EDU>, koster@cory.Berkeley.EDU
(David Ashley) could at least have included my correction:
> uunet.uu.net 192.112.141.129 amiga/sources (alt.amiga archive)
				      amiga-sources
