[net.music] Siouxsie/Banshees and Echo/Bunnymen

kirsch@sjuvax.UUCP (P. Kirsch) (10/16/85)

I asked about these groups earlier and I got no response. If anyone can
help me it would be much appreciated...

Does anyone know what Echo and the Bunnymen are doing at present? Are they
still together? Will they have an album out soon??

Ditto for Siouxsie--and has anyone heard anything about a Siouxsie tour??
I heard that they might tour the states in November.

Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Echo and the B-Men decided to take a one-year hiatus a few months
back. Ian McCollough (sp) , their lead singer, has released some solo work
in the mean time. After their latest album 'Ocean Rain', I believe Echo and
the B-men released either an EP or single with one song being a remake of the
Beatles 'All you need is love'.

If anyone is new to Echo and the Bunnymen, listen to their second
album 'Heaven Up Here'. It is great!

Let me update what I reported earlier about Echo and the B-Men.
NEWSFLASH: Echo and the Bunnymen apparently have ended their vacation and
have released a new single. The 12" has 'Bring on the Dancing Horses'
on the A-side and two other new songs on the B-side. Also, I've heard
that they will be releasing a "Greatest Hits" album around Christmas time.
It will have the new single on it. Does anyone ever buy greatest hits
records???
