[comp.sys.amiga] Rob Peck's Programmer's Guide

After hearing how hard it is to find a copy of Rob Peck's Programmer's
Guide (sorry I don't have a reference to the article/s), I was in one of
my favorite bookstores the other day and decided to look through the
computer section. I didn't hold out much hope for finding anything I
wanted: most of the computer-related books I need and want are advanced
computer science textbooks and most bookstores (except for colleges) carry
little more than the vast and seemingly uncountable number of books for
Lotus products, Hypercard, C "how to" books, basic and fortran books, etc.
Well, what did I find in the Amiga section? Not one but TWO (count 'em,
two) copies of Rob Peck's book! The store: "Bookstop", a Texas-wide
chain. I don't know how far or even if they have penetrated farther than
Texas. But at least *somebody* carries them on the shelf! I hope someone
finds this information helpful.
