[comp.sys.amiga] Anybody come up with a PATH: device yet?

Talk of some sort of PATH: device keeps popping up here every once in
a while.  Such a device would translate a file spec such as PATH:include
into a path of directories to be searched.

Does anyone have a working model yet?
