Ditto, I am glad that my kid is only 2 weeks old, if I had a three
year old around I would hate to leave him (or her) with my computer
for fear of "let's put gum in the machine and see if it talks"

I am just glad some beer manufacturers don't do a similar comercial
with a face opening up on the screen and the guy pouring beer all
over his monitor. :-)

There is a Labatt's poster with a computer handing a can of beer
to a guy. There's a wireframe hand (holding the beer),
and lower arm extending from the monitor, and some silly dialogue
on the screen, close to what the computer says on the Wrigley's 
commercial. However, I think the computer is the instigator.
(Let's go for a beer, eh?)

(For non-Canadians/non-beer-drinkers out there - Labatt's is a
Canadian brewing company.)

  All I have to say is, if MY computer ever asked me what Wrigley's chewing gum
was, I'd sure say "Pure chewing satisfaction!"
  (P.S. I'm sure that commercial will win an award for STOOPIDEST CREATION BY
MAN or something...)
