[comp.sys.amiga] Audio Question

I'd like to use the feature of the Audio Hardware in which one of the
channels modulates the volume and/or period of another. As I understand
it, this is not supported by the audio device and I must do some
register-poking.

Can someone point me to a code sample where this is done?

Failing that, I have some questions about the necessary setup.
Assume that channel aud0 is going to be volume-modulating channel aud1.

1) May I still do MOST of the initialization through the audio device?
(E.g. will the audio device mess with the attach bits I set in ADKCON?)

2) At what stage do I set the bits in ADKCON, or does it matter.
(Can I even wait until after things are playing??)

3) What to do with the volume and period of aud0?
(Same values as aud1, or simply ignore?)

4) The data length for aud0--is it still in bytes even though the data
   is being read as words?

Thanks for any help,
