[Line eaters Unite]
I have been noticing all the mail latley about Lyco. Is Lyco going under or
what? I have a friend stationed here in the Philippines with me who ordered
a computer from Lyco about 4 months ago. Well, needless to say, he STILL hasn't
recieved it. He went through the military legal office here, who contacted
Lyco. They related that they were out of stock. He requested a refund, which
they sent. What a surprise. But wait. There's more. About a week later, he
got a call from the bank. The check they Lyco sent him did not clear. They
stopped payment on it. Well, it was back to the legal office. They contacted
Lyco again. Lyco related that they realized that they had sent a computer by
mistake after sending the check and therefore cancelled the check. Well, that
was three weeks ago, and my friend has yet to receive his computer, and is
concequently out the 500 or so dollars for the check they sent him. I guess
he'll be going back to the legal office again. I think that they also contacted
the BBB about them as well. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
