Here's a little tale from up North. I have just completed a summers employment with Commodore Business Machines Ltd. in Canada. They had a program called the Amiga Action Team which consisted of 34 college/university students who went around the country training salespeople and putting on demonstrations. We went to EVERY store carrying the Amiga and showed them how to demonstrate its features and how to relate them to user benefits. We left them demo disks, videotapes, PD disks, posters and anything else we could get our hands on. Over the summer the Amiga got very good exposure and the dealers had a much improved feeling about Commodore and its products. I spent six days a week going from store to store training salespeople. I am not CBM but I am reading. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Just this week, I was informed that the Amiga Action Team has been retained for the Fall on a part-time basis. This means part-time employment for us and continued exposure for the Amiga. I have to go train some salespeople now. See you in L.A.. I'll be the one not wearing the cape. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ How can I tell if the rest of the world can read this message? I guess I'll have to hope that someone replies to it. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- || c o m m o d o r e || _ __ __ ___ _ Coniah Chuang || /\\ |\ || || / \\ /\\ Envoy100: Chuang.C || / \\ |\\ /|| || || __ / \\ Usenet : ccami@ccami.UUCP || /__ \\ | \\ / || || || || /__ \\ Snail : 1322 East 59th Ave. ||/ \\| \X || || \__||/ \\ Vancouver, BC V5X 1Z1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------
