I recently purchased a Seagate ST251N SCSI hard disk for my Amiga 500. Now the search is on for a SCSI interface. Does anyone out there have a recommendation? I am leaning towards the C Ltd.; have heard good things, but I wanted some input from the net. Please reply vie Email, and I will summarize to the net. My system is as follows: A500, A501 mem expansion, external drive (Prodrive), Micron 2 meg mem. expansion. The micron board has its own power supply, in a case with a pass-thru. I need a SCSI interface that comes in a case to be attached to the bus. I don't think one is made with a power supply, but if available, that would be very nice. Also needed are cables to go from the interface to the drive, and formatting software. Do these come with the C Ltd.? On another note, I am curious if the power supply to the micron board also feeds power to the bus. If not, what are the power requirements of a SCSI interface, and will my system die if I stick one on? The power question really has me hanging, and I am unsure what direction to take.... Thanks for your help!
