I thought of this too late for the MidWest AmiExpo, but I think it would be a riot at the LA one. Here it is... You get a group of folks together to pick on a local PC computer store (anything without Amigas). One Scenario is: You walk into the store and start mindlessly wandering through their (PC ack, gawk) software. One of your friends come in (acts like you are strangers) and starts looking helpless, when the salesperson comes over your friend asks for "(amiga specific stuff)", when the salesperson says whatever he/she says ("ain't no such computer for under $xxxx") you look up from reading a manual and casually say: "oh, you want an Amiga." Your friend says thanks and leaves. Store owner is dumbfounded (we hope). This can be modified in several different ways, you could continue along this line with 5 or so more friends comming in and asking for "(more amiga specific stuff)" and everytime you respond with "oh, you want an Amiga." Or, you could go for the brute force tactic, simply have one person every 5 minutes walk into the target store and ask if they carry Amiga computers. About two hours of this would drive the store owner crazy. I don't know what is going on at the LA one, but at the Chicago one they were giving away hats for inane reasons, I figure that after such abusive treatment the store owners ought to be treated to some hats. If someone does this, let me know how it goes. -- ________________________________________ | Mike Davis | ..!att!ihlpm!jmdavis |_________________________
