After reading yesterday's posting from the individual who thought he got the SCA virus from his GVP hardcard instalation disk, I went home and checked mine. Sure enough, vcheck complained about the SCA virus being present. Suprisingly, the floppy that I use to pre-boot the hardcard was NOT infected, even though it had been built from the installation disk. I got lucky, and only found the virus on one other disk. I called GVP, and they said that they already knew about the virus and were taking steps to eradicate it. (BTW, they mentioned they were coming out with an improved installation guide for the hardcard). Anyway, if you have a GVP hardcard, you need to get a copy of vcheck and test your floppies for infection. (Sorry not to give credit to the original poster, I misplaced the article, but thank you for letting us know about this). Bill Hansen billh@teklim.LIM.TEK.COM
