We have been using a Mac II with large (1024x768) color screen for preparing documents and presentations where I work. The principle tools are Textures for TeX and LaTex, and Cricket Draw and Freehand for drawings. We are considering getting more of these, and I have proposed Amigas instead, citing price, capability, and other nice words. To convince management, I need to show capability and interchangability. I am therefore asking your help. I need information (:-) about what packages on the Amiga can provide similar (though not necessarily identical) functionality to those described above. Another condition that must hold for Amigas to be bought is that documents and drawings must be interchangable. A drawing made on one machine must be able to be moved to the other without losing information. Can this be done? I will summarize answers to the net. Thanks much, Marty Cohen (mcohen@nrtc.northrop.com (128.99.0.1))
