[comp.sys.amiga] Autobooting with A2090A

AXDRW%ALASKA.BITNET@cunyvm.cuny.edu (Don R. Withey) (10/21/88)

Well, I got my 1.3 kickstart from CATS today. I stuck it into my 2000,
turned on the power and looked at the pretty "insert 1.3 workbench"... ;-)
Used the three finger reset, and my hard drive autobooted just like I
set it up to do, the first time (yeah)!! Anyway, the point of this
message is to put to rest some questions I and others have voices (typed?).

You CAN autoboot from a Seagate SCSI drive, with an A2090A controller!!

I have an A2090A, and a Seagate ST277N hard disk. The drive will not boot
at powerup, but every time I reset it afterwards, it boots just fine.
I'm happy!
        Don
